Kamloops Caremongers - Michelle Yavaşgel
Kathleen Fisher Photography & Aspect Film Works have been wondering how we could give back during this challenging time we are all facing.
Most of you have likely seen the increasingly popular “front porch sessions” where photographers are capturing families during self-isolation on their porch, front lawn or through their front window. A lot of our local photographers are donating a portion of the money made towards our local food bank, how cool is that?!
We wanted to do something a little different! We wanted to showcase our local businesses and community members who are not only working and providing us with essential services during this scary and uncertain time, but also those who are going above and beyond with their generosity.
We are honoured and excited to share our first Kamloops Caremonger, Michelle Yavaşgel!
Michelle has been making homemade bread and delivering it to people in Kamloops FOR FREE! Whether a neighbour has run out, or a complete stranger cannot afford it, she's generously spending her time baking and ensuring these people aren't left without one of our most loved staples! <3 Thank you Michelle! Kamloops is lucky to have you!
Do you know a local company/organization or a local resident who is going above and beyond during the COVID-19 pandemic? If so, please let us know, as we would love to feature them and help spread some positivity.
**Note, we are not asking for payment, this is just our way of giving back to our incredible community.
